Race for Health October Mail-Out
Update #16 released: Tuesday 13, October 2009
Dear Programme Leads,
First of all I would like to thank those of you who attended the Programme Board and Programme Lead Meetings last month, and hope that you found them useful and productive. For those of you that did not attend, I enclose a copy of the Website Statistics for September, circulated at the meetings. Please note that the data shown is only for the first three weeks of September and that by the month’s conclusion, traffic had reached a similar level to that for August. We are still however, looking for ways in which to increase website traffic. Should you have any suggestions as to how we may do this, or should you wish to discuss website traffic, please contact me at:
jessica.bradbury@liverpoolpct.nhs.uk

Black History Season
As you are all no doubt aware, this month is Black History Season, celebrating different aspects of African and African Caribbean history, culture and life. The Race for Health Website is currently in the process of being updated with a Black History Season portal, whilst David Harris, one of our Senior Associate Coordinators, has put out a call for Research Support so that the portal may be populated with Educational Resources regarding the topic. Please find attached both a copy of the letter from David and a calendar detailing Black History Season events being held in Liverpool this year. Should any of you wish to have a list of celebratory events taking place in your Trust published on the website, please do not hesitate to contact me.
