CEMVO - Council of Ethnic Minority Voluntary organisations
Both black and minority ethnic communities and the minority ethnic voluntary sector suffer from a lack of resources, not only in terms of money but also in the involvement of ethnic minority professionals (as trustees, volunteers, staff and donors) and an involvement and participation within the policy and decision making process CEMVO's mission is to redress this by developing resources for black and minority ethnic communities in the United Kingdom. In order to do this the Council of Ethnic Minority Voluntary Sector Organisations (CEMVO) and the Ethnic Minority Foundation (EMF) have been established.
