The Vital Connection
The Vital Connection launched in 2000, sets out three strategic aims of a workforce for equality and diversity; a better place to work and a service using its leverage to make a difference. In putting these aims into practice, local circumstances will require locally-shaped responses. However, in order to ensure the Service achieves common purpose and consistent high standards, The Vital Connection gives both a framework for action and includes specific priorities and actions required by all parts of the Service.
