Pathways to Employment for Refugees Solutions Toolkit

The solutions toolkit has been created by Norfolk, Suffolk & Cambridge Strategic Health Authority to support their work with refugee health professionals. Sponsored by the Department of Health, it is aimed at organisations working with refugee health professionals and potential employers.

Information included in the Solutions Toolkit includes:

  1. A pathway charting the refugee health professional’s arrival in the UK through to finding employment
  2. A journey planner & self-completion calendar guiding refugee health professionals to reach their destination
  3. Flow charts showing the routes to registration and who may be able to help
  4. A self assessment framework to help identify gaps in information / knowledge / experience. NB this will be made interactive at a later date.
  5. Training and staff awareness framework including; facts about refugees, articles to use, information aimed at HR managers and suggestions for a NHS jobs open evening.
