SHAs: Race Equality Performance Framework Template
The Strategic Health Authority Race Equality Guide 2004 includes a performance framework to assist NHS organisations assess their progress in relation to implementing the requirements of the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000. Developed by a partnership involving SHAs, the CRE and DH, following its launch in July 2004, it is now being used by a number of SHAs across the country. An electronic template of the framework (in Word) is available on this site for use by trusts in carrying out their self-assessment. The use of the framework was piloted as a performance management tool by North Central London SHA and a report on this is available on www.nclondon.nhs.uk.
